Falcon 1

The Falcon 1 is a partially reusable launch system designed by SpaceX. It is a two stage rocket that uses Liquid Oxygen and RP-1, a derivation of Kerosene. The rocket uses SpaceX's Merlin engine for the first stage, and their Kestrel engine for the second stage.
The vehicle is the first successfully developed liquid orbital launch vehicle using only private funds, although it experienced initial problems, with the first three launch vehicles failing, and the fourth flight finally being completely successful.
The launch veheicle masses 35,180 kg (Falcon 1e variant) and has the capacity of lifting a 1010 kg payload to orbit. SpaceX has currently posted the pricing of a Falcon 1e of 10.9 million dollars publicly on their website.
