XCOR Aerospace is a rocket engine and spaceflight company based at the Mojave Spaceport in Mojave, California. XCOR was founded in 1999.XCOR is focused on research, development and production of reusable launch vehicles, rocket engines, and rocket propulsion systems. The company has currently built 11 different rocket engines, and two manned rocket powered aircraft, the EZ-Rocket and X-Racer. Currently, the company offers propulsion systems between 15 lbf and 7,500 lbf. All Propulsion systems are build to customer specifications.
Also currently in development is the Lynx Suborbital Spacecraft. This manned vehicle is being developed to take off from a conventional runway using rockets, accelerate, and reach suborbital flights around 100 km (330,000 feet), then return via landing on a runway.
